We will process submissions on a flow basis. We will send out decision notifications within one week of submission. All proposals are due on the portal on or before 15 January, 2018. After receiving this confirmation, you must fill out a registration form (downloadable from the HERA website), and mail the form with a check made out to HERA, in U.S. currency.

Your postmark will be the ultimate determinant of your registration rates. We aim to post an online program in mid-February. Schedule change requests disrupt the plans of those already registered. HERA will not process changes to the program. You must submit your fees to HERA by January 19, 2018 or your name will be deleted from all versions of the program.
All presenters must be members of HERA.
Refunds: Requests for refunds must be made in writing and postmarked no later than January 26, 2018. Email requests for refunds to mgreen@sfsu.edu. A $50 service fee is deducted from all refunds. There will be no refunds for any reason after January 26, 2018. HERA is not responsible for any cancellations or other charges assessed by airlines, travel agents, online booking agencies, or other institutions.
IMPORTANT: There are a limited number of discounted hotel rooms available. Please make your hotel registrations one of two ways: 1. On our website’s link to The Palmer House dedicated HERA website; or 2. Directly with the hotel by phone at (800-522-1564) or (312-726-5000) and mention that you want the HERA rate of $139. Make these reservations as early as possible to receive the discounted rate. The Palmer House requires that you make your reservations by 02/05/2018. Your credit card will be charged in advance for the first night. However, hotel cancellations made at least 72 hours (3 days) before your arrival night are fully refundable.
The $139 rate is applicable 3 days before and 3 days after the conference based on availability.
